Jonathan Wesley

This past week I was able to get some one year pictures of Jonathan.....this child is every photographer's nightmare, Seriously!!! Half the pictures I took didn't turn out cause I was so busy trying to keep him from falling off the couch/ chair, that I wasn't able to get back far enough. Of course he was having a grand old time!
We love this little man, he's so full of personality and quite the little flirt. At his one year checkup, I got asked by the nurse if he was flirting with her, which he was..... We're gonna have to keep our eye on this one.
He's so smart and stubborn, I guess thats why he waited an extra two weeks to be born and even then took his sweet time! He has decided to follow Savannah and wait to start walking until he's over a year, so is still enjoying being carried around .....he is very close though!
He definitely keeps us laughing at his cute expression and sweet personality. He gets so excited about the little things in life and is truly a joy to us all. His first word wasn't dada or mama, but uh-oh! And his cutest expression is "aww" with  excitement while his mouth is open wide......captured in the fourth picture!

Random pictures......

Felicity colored the picture for school. I thought it looked pretty close to the top right one, which she was copying!

Picked all the tangerines off our tree before the hard freeze.....

Love the icicles.....man made of course!

Jonathan got Roseola.....

Christian helped me make a salad last night and arranged the cucumbers just so..... My little perfectionist!

Jonathan very own lollipop.... And he knew exactly what to do with it!

Winter....

This is the closest Florida gets to snow, a  hard freeze and ice! We got numbers in the 20* outside, which for us is really cold! When we get weather like this it's a long process to try and protect our plants and trees that can't handle a freeze...... Protecting our fruit trees!

Ice from our kiddy pool.....

Jonathan getting to see ice for the first time! Christian and savannah kept say, "it's cold mommy".

Burning of the Christmas tree

Every year we have this tradition of setting the tree a flame after its good and dry. This year I don't think we quite waited long enough, cause it took a lot of gas to get it started. But as always, once they start nothing will stop em..... Can't believe that in times of old, they actually put real candles all over the tree!
All of us enjoyed watching it go, except for Savannah of course! She cried and hid the whole time cause she didn't like the fire (smart girl) or the crackling sound that it made.
