Randomness

Three weeks ago after going to blue springs, I went over to my parents house and disbudded my parents baby kids!

All the children got to hold the baby goats while we were waiting for the disbudder to heat up.

A couple weeks agos we had a yard sale and I tried to help Matt and France's get rid of their kittens....with no success! Jonathan really liked them though :-)

Fishing Trip

A couple weeks ago we got to go fishing as a family on Grammies and PaPa's boat.....the kids had a lot of fun!

Felicity really wanted to to catch a lot of fish, but only caught one or two!

Christian was catching fish left and right, but just thought it was way to too much work reeling them in!

Savannah and Jonathan didn't want the fish anywhere near them, and kept wanting to be reassured that the fish weren't going to bite them!!

James did really good, he even took a really good nap on the boat. He really loved it when the boat was moving, watching the waves go up and down.

And yes, I even fished some....and caught stuff too!! But No, I did not bait my hook....I had to keep my hands clean for the baby :-)

And towards the afternoon, we even got to see Dolphins!!

James 11 months old

James is 11 months old today, where has the time gone!!

James just had a GI appointment last week, which went very well.

Lord Willing he'll be able to stop his reflux medicine at 15 months.

He is growing very well and trying very hard to keep up with his other siblings....

He's only 4 inches shorter than jonathan and 5 pounds lighter.

James still just has his bottom two teeth, though his his top teeth are pushing down, they still haven't broken through yet.

James is along a very strong effort to walk by one! He will stand up independently in the middle of the room with no help, but hasn't really taken any steps yet.

Baby goats

A couple days ago, my parents had baby goats born on their farm, so of course I went right over to let the children see them.

Christian is definitely an animal person and by far was the most excited to be around them.

Savannah and jonathan kept their distance and made sure they weren't going to "bite" them, as they said.

Felicity thought kids were cute, but as the "baby lover", was much more interested in holding her niece!

Watermelon Parade

Last weekend we went to Chieflands Watermelon Festival....it was really hot, but the free watermelon was a nice treat.

Jonathan by far "showed us" how much he enjoyed his melon....His blue 'n white shirt was blue 'n pink by the time he was done!
