Justin was off Memorial Day, so we enjoyed a quiet family day at home....mowing the lawn, enjoying fun on a slip-n-slide, bbque ribs and a few sparklers/fireworks before bed!

Our Garden

Our garden is doing really well this year, we're so excited that the corn is actually growing ( every year we plant corn, and it's always pretty much a flop)!!!  Jonathan enjoyed getting his picture taken, of course.... To show how tall it is now!

Olive Garden.....

As a special Mother's Day treat Justin and the kids took me to the "Olive  Garden" for dinner, and boy was it delicious (it's been almost a year since we've eaten there)..... Chicken Alfredo is my favorite!!!
It was a lot of fun, and the kids did very well....they were so excited about going out to eat, it was really cute( we hardly ever eat out, and for them its an even greater ever hardly happens). *** Justin made that face trying to stay out of the blog ***

Amanda's Bridal Shower

Saturday we had the privilege of attending Amanda Smiths bridal shower. Kim, Becky and I went as well as Felicity, Savannah, Renae, Jedidiah and Nathan! The host was so thoughtful, no detail was forgotten. Everything was decorated beautifully, the fellowship was sweet and the girls loved it.....especially their butterfly wings and bags of goodies!

Daytona vacation....

Last week we enjoyed two days, with Becky and Joe, at a timeshare they allowed us to join them at! The place was right on the beach with 4-5 heated pools, a lazy river and putt putt golf..... We mainly enjoyed the pool, which allowed the kids an opportunity to practice their swimming, and allowed some to overcome their fear of water! The two days did them well....we had a great time, but were very ready to come home by the second day!
Thank you Becky and Joe for inviting us to join you on your vacation......

Christian turns 4

On Christians Birth-day, Justin and I went grocery shopping and as a special treat Christian got to join us, which he thoroughly enjoyed!  He really loved all the one-on-one time..... While we were out; he got to talk to Grammie and Papa, get an ice cream at SAMs club, and have some fries on the way home!!!

Blue Springs

The other evening, before all the rain, we took the kids swimming at blue springs. It was really nice and gave the kids a shallow pool experience, hopefully giving them the opportunity to get used to water/swimming..... They were all complaining about how cold it was (Justin wouldn't even get in), but it was actually relatively warm for a spring!
