Watermelon Parade

   

Last weekend we went to Chieflands Watermelon Festival....it was really hot, but the free watermelon was a nice treat. 

Jonathan by far "showed us" how much he enjoyed his melon....His blue 'n white shirt was blue 'n pink by the time he was done!

 

Picking Blueberries

Saturday we went Blueberry picking, which a lot of fun for our whole family! It was hot and towards the end I had had enough sun, as well as James, but everyone else was still having a blast.

Each of the kids had their own bucket and did a really good job picking, even jonathan managed to fill about half a bucket full, amongst his eating them.

He was really cute about his picking too! When he'd find a couple of "His" aproved blueberries, he'd be like  "wook, there's a nudder one"!!

Blue Springs

Tuesday we went to Blue springs with Tj and Susan, Frances and Kim, and all their kids!!

The kids enjoyed swimming and fellowshipping with their cousins, all except for James, who really didn't enjoy the cool water at ALL.

Christian turns 5!!

We took Christian to "Red Robins" to eat for his birthday! The burgers, onion rings and doughnuts are super good!

We celebrated his birthday on his exact Birth day, May 1st! Then Saturday am Justin took him to try out his new clubs at Williston driving range. 

Christian is a natural... He not only stands properly, but can hit really good too! When Justin would encourage him by hitting well, he'd say " yeah, I do!" (Justin videoed him a couple time and we were dying laughing, cause of his response. He was doing it innocently, but it just sounded SO Prideful!!)

Then Tuesday night, Justin's family came over to help celebrate his birthday by bringing a Really cute cake and gifts. Christian really enjoyed the one on one time with them....and all the special attention from them!
