Zoo trip

The last Saturday in September we were able to take the kids to the Zoo (the month of September, kids go free on Saturdays)!

It ended up being a nice, HOT day, but the kids really enjoyed seeing all the animals!

Poor James, I forgot to bring him shoes, so he ended up borrowing his cousins (Nathan M), for the afternoon.

All the kids loved seeing the animals, but James especially enjoyed it.... He's definitely an animal lover!

Catching up

Back in July we went to Cow appreciation day at Chick-fil-a (Grampy was staying with us, so got to join in the fun).

Sweet one year old, all fresh and clean!

Savannah was showing me how brave she was to throw away a dead bug!

James sitting still for devotions, what a good little boy....

Jonathan was just too cute, trying so hard to keep his eyes closed during prayer at devotions!

Jonathan fell asleep during church....

Sweet brothers playing together.....

Jonathan and James reading together....

          5 months along.....

James trying to escape with the broom and dustpan.....

      6 months along....

Coming back from Daytona with an extra load (2 Airplane banners and lead poles).....everyone trying to get a nap!

Our last Blue Springs trip of the season. James enjoying a generous sister's lick from a lollipop! Christian can officially swim without any floatation devices....

Only Twelve weeks left....I feel like I grew 3ft in the last week :-(

Our first day of school was July 21st! I know it's a couple weeks earlier than we usually do, but with a baby coming in December, I'm trying to have a couple weeks break when baby arrives!!
Savannahs doing preschool stuff (will wait till next year for her to do kindergarten and start first grade)!

Christian is in 1st grade, and doing great!! Buzzing right through it.

Felicity is in 4th grade this year. She's doing very good as well, but doesn't enjoy the hard work that it requires to do well (she will eventually realize/learn that life is full of hard things that we don't like though)!

James is enjoying playtime during school....he thinks he's pretty BIG stuff, being able to get on the bike all by himself!!!

Cedar Key fireworks

On the fourth, we met up with Justins family in the evening, to watch the fireworks in Cedar Key.

Because it was Saturday night and the kids had already been up very late the night before, we had them wear their pjs so they could fall asleep on the way home.

The fireworks were very nice, but I probably wouldn't choose to go back, since Ocala's are better and closer...... The constant torture of sandgnats biting was a BiG turn off too!

July 3rd

On Friday our town celebrated Independence Day. We went to Williston parade, which Justin did a float for his work again. After the parade we went to Kim and Bens house and ate, and fellowshiped until @ 8:30ish and then headed back to Williston to watch the fireworks.
