Mom, Grampy and I planned a special surprise birthday get together at the Texas Roadhouse for Becky, Kim and Renae.... The best part was that we all got to attend and partake! Most of us had never eaten there, so it was a new experience that we'll definitely have to repeat. The food was very good and with 24 people, half of them 5 and under, the waiters did such a great job and were so kind and helpful. It was very loud, but a lot of fun. Our kids were a little extra silly due to the excitement of it all, actually all the kids were! At one point, Felicity's like, "Mom is it ok that Savannah ate the whole peanut?"....I look over and sure enough, Savannah had eaten the WHOLE peanut, shell and ALL!.... I guess sooo?! That child is such a mess. She didn't eat her chicken and fries, but she ate a peanut shell, Ok.... Thank you Grampy for the delicious food, fellowship and dessert!
Grampys going away for a week, so he rented a car to get him to the airport and it just happened to be a mustang, which all the guys wished they could test drive..... So after we ate the kids wanted to sit in Grandma's rental car. Christian was hilarious, after he got in the car, he was like, grandma give me the keys. Guess he knew what he wante to do.....drive!
We sure did have a lot of fun even though someone unknowing it was suppose to be a surprise to me spilled the beans Sat night ;). I still was not sure if it was going to happen or not since Joe & Mom never said anything, so I was kind of surprised. Samuel tried to eat the whole peanut shell & all too & may have gotten one in before I noticed! Even Riley was excited along with the other children :)!!!! The food was delicious but we were so hungry that we really got to enjoy most of the rolls & peanuts there, the delicious PUBLIX cakes at home & the rest of the food today :)!!!
